“Jory has crafted an exceptionally clear,  funny and moving version.”

San Francisco Chronicle

Follow the romantic adventures of the Bennet sisters in Jon Jory's delightful adaptation of Jane Austen's charmingly wry novel, PRIDE & PREJUDICE.  The play is a giddy romp through Regency England, when money and manners mattered more than morals, and where a good and affluent match for her daughters is a mother's keenest ambition. Jane, the beauty, Lizzie, the wit, Lydia, the flirt, Kitty, the sidekick, Mary, the pedant -- which of the Bennet sisters will find her most fortunate match?

"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."                                                         Jane Austen, PRIDE & PREJUDICE
