SHANNA GATES
Shanna is proud to say she has been performing with the Barn Playhouse for the last 28 years. She was last seen in the September production of A Night of Broadway. Some of her past Barn roles include Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene), Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney), Jekyll and Hyde (Emma Carew), A Chorus Line (Cassie), Spamalot (Lady of the Lake), Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie Alvarez), Assassins (Squeaky Fromme) & Chess (Florence Vassy). Shanna Lives in Gilbertsville and is a graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island, NY with a BA in Speech and Theatre. She works managing Clinical Trials for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and is the proud mom to 2 beautiful daughters, Gianna and Gemma. She is excited to be back on stage after a long hiatus, and would like to thank her family and friends, for their love and support, with a special thanks to Steve and Marianne for their friendship and for always making performing for the Barn such a wonderful experience.
JOSH MUSKA
Josh is ecstatic to be back on stage, last performing at The Barn as Pepper in Mamma Mia. A big thank you to all the friends and family that have come out to support the show and theatre. Thank you to the cast, crew, and production staff for making this a fantastic experience.
ALYSSA REAPE
Alyssa is so thrilled to be back on the stage at The Barn after almost two years! She was seen most recently as Casey in the Barn’s production of First Date back in 2019. Many thanks to our production team who have worked so hard to make this show possible during a very difficult and complicated time of reopening theaters. Thank you as well to this tremendous cast for sharing their time and talents over the last few months, it’s been such a joy to make music with friends again. Lots of love and gratitude to my family and hubby- to-be for always supporting my passion for the theater.
BRITTANY RECUPERO
Brittany is delighted to be returning to theater after the pandemic hiatus! A member of The Barn Playhouse since 2012, Brittany's past roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Anna in Spring Awakening, Brenda in Catch Me if You Can, and a number of great ensembles (Curtains & Children of Eden to name a few). You can also find Brittany behind the scenes of a show, while directing the winter musicals at St Hubert's High School in Philadelphia. Many thanks to friends, family, this wonderful cast of theater people, and a fantastic production team. Also a huge shout out to fellow castmate and husband, Paul "my favorite leading man". Enjoy the show, and welcome back!
PAUL RECUPERO
Paul is very happy to be performing again with the Dramateurs. He has appeared in numerous productions over the past 20 years (!!) and also has directed several shows with the group, most recently Steven Schwartz' musical Children of Eden in 2017. His favorite role is playing husband to his wonderful and talented wife with whom he has the pleasure to perform alongside in this cabaret! Paul is a lawyer who works for nonprofit AccessLex Institute as a legal content editor and creator of a new comprehensive bar exam preparation course, Helix Bar Review, which will be released in the near future to help graduating law students across the country pass the bar. Paul also directs Devon Prep's annual musical. With respect to All Together Now!, he would like to thank Steve, Marianne, Diane, Rob, the rest of the production team, the crazy and fun cast, and his family and Brittany for always supporting him. Finally, to the audience: "Thanks for coming, and I hope you enjoy!"
MAUREEN SCALLATINO
Maureen is thrilled to return to the stage after being away forever – well, it seems like forever. Maureen’s last show at the Barn was The Addams Family, but she has kept herself busy working behind the scenes helping directors gather their show props. Before the pandemic, Maureen was last seen as the Widow Corney in Newtown Arts Company’s 2019 production of Oliver. Some of her favorite roles include Grandma in The Addams Family, Martha Watson in White Christmas, Eulalie Mackechnie Shinn in The Music Man, and Mazeppa in Gypsy. When not rehearsing at the Barn, she’s rehearsing with the Southampton Community Band. By day Maureen is social media manager and website designer for some local non-profits and a graphic designer for a social media marketing company. It’s an honor to share the stage with so many talented performers. Thank you, Steve and Marianne for this opportunity to work with you two again! It’s always a blast!
RENEE SCHULZ
Renee technically comes before her husband alphabetically; which is a good because he always writes better bios. She couldn’t be happier to be “back on the boards” for the Barn, and working with so many much-missed friends. Thank you to Steve (the one she’s not married to) and Marianne for giving her the chance to sing something she’s been waiting 20 years to sing, and to Steve (the one she is married to) for dancing with her on stage again.
STEVE SCHULZ
Steve is very excited to be dusting off the vocal cords and back among his friends from The Barn. Less excited to be dancing, but now is the time for positivity. By day, Steve tries to keep cat paws off the computer keyboard and cat butts from blocking the monitors while flirting with his beautiful & talented office-mate. By evening, he invites her for drinks & a rousing game of cards at a charming old farmhouse. This may be going somewhere.
BARBARA SHERMAN
Barbara has been doing theatre around the tri-state area for many years. Returning to Dramateurs is wonderful after this pandemic. She has played some of her most favorite roles on this stage such as Diana in Next to Normal, Judy Steinburg in It Shoulda Been You, Mamma Rose in Gypsy and Dot in Sunday In the Park with George. Barbara would like to thank Steve and Marianne DiNenno for being the first opportunity to sing again in so long. Also to her loving husband, Michael, who is the rock to her scissors, I love you.
MADDI SLOAN
Maddi is so happy to be performing in her second production with The Barn during this re-opening season! She is very thankful to be sharing the stage with many of her favorite people. Some of her past credits include: Thea in Spring Awakening, Google Girl in First Date, Aphra/Snake in Children of Eden, Ancestor in The Addams Family and many more! Thank you so much to Steve and Marianne for giving her this opportunity to perform at her favorite place again.
ROB STOOP (Music Director)
Rob is a PhD in Organizational Development in Change, working in the Biopharmaceutical industry. On the side, he has a passion for music and theatre that has led to many wonderful memories, relationships, and experiences over the years. Most recently seen on stage at The Barn in A Night of Broadway, he is happy to have been asked to "help out" for this production. He would like to thank the Director, Steve, for including him, the cast and crew for all of their dedication and hard work, his family and friends for their support, and most importantly, his husband, Carlos, for his love and encouragement.
DIANE HODGKISS
(Choreographer)
Diane is delighted to be back at the Barn working with such a talented cast on this unique opportunity to bring live theater back to the community. Diane's most recent choreography credits elsewhere include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Facetime Theatre, July 2021) and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (PAHS, May 2021). Diane would like to thank Steve for the opportunity and flexibility, as well as the cast and rest of the production team for their dedication. "As always, love to Jim, Kelsey, and Greg!"
