The Little Sisters of Hoboken operate Mount Saint Helen's School in Hoboken, new Jersey. Originally founded as a missionary order, they started out running a leper colony on an island south of France. Forced to leave the island when they lost control to a group of Protestant competitors, they returned to Hoboken. They went unnoticed until one day their cook, Sister Julia unwittingly served some tainted vichyssoise soup and 52 sisters died of botulism.
To raise funds for four of the burials, the Little Sisters stage a talent show.

Rave Reviews for "Nunsense"
Gary Puleo, Times
Herald (May 11, 2001): "As a group, these nuns are as perfectly
integrated and modulated as one of their zany tunes, a hallowed convergence
of spirits, concocting all sorts of irreverent mischief.... "Nunsense,"
as loose and freewheeling as a nun's habit, is one of those perennial
crowd-pleasers that will never go away."
